Romania: two arrests for organised crime group and cocaine trafficking
Two Romanians have been accused in participation in organized crime group for cocaine trafficking
According to data of the investigators the criminal scheme is organized from Columbian drug cartel Medelin.
Members of the group except Columbians and Romanians included citizens of other countries, Mediafax reported.
The cocaine was transported by ships from Ecuador to Spain, Italy and after that to the Romanian port of Kostanca.
The drug was hidden in cargo containers of frozen fish. The cocaine is allegedly intended for Western Europe.
