Military police at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport have arrested 10 people, including seven workers at the airport, suspected of importing at least 28 kilograms of cocaine from Suriname, reports ANP news agency on Tuesday.
According to the Telegraaf, which says the police have uncovered a ‘mega coke ring’, the seven airport workers were employed by KLM.

Customs officials seized 200 million illegal cigarettes last year, double the 2007 seizures, news agency ANP said on Wednesday.
Most of the cigarettes were counterfeits of existing brands and some 50% originated in China.
If the cigarettes had been sold, the treasury would have missed out on €300m in taxes, ANP said.
