FLARE member: Azerbaijan Youth Euro Atlantic Organization (AYEAO)

Description: The aims of the  FLARE campaign are promoted in several differents universities in Baku. AYEAO members and volounteers disseminate promotional materials.

FLARE delegation participated in a seminar focused on the resolution of conflicts in the Caucasus area. Michele Curto, President of FLARE, based his lecture on explaining how tight is the relation between the political framework and the illegal markets in post-soviet countries, expecially in the central Asian countries.

The event started a collaboration between the FLARE Network and the organizations that work daily in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. It is known indeed that most of the heroin trafficking destined to Europe pass through these countries and it represents an issue that FLARE intends to deepen.
