The FLARE member “Youth 4 Youth” organized a round table in Skopje as an opportunity to discuss the law on confiscation of crminal properties and the role that FLARE might play in it. The law that allows the government to confiscate properties belonging to organized crime groups has become effective in early 2009. However, it still does notforeseen the social reuse for the same properties confiscated.

FLARE intends to deepen the collaboration with the Macedonian Agency for managing confiscated properties and to function as provider of expertise on the matter. At the semniar participated Vancho Shehtanski, Director of the agency for managing confiscated property, Darko Pavlovski and Jasna Dobrishic, OSCE, Rosen Dimov, Chairperson at Initsiativa Regional Youth Council and Barosso’s youngest consultant, and Michele Curto, President of FLARE.
