Season of legality

The project is part of the activities made by FLARE (Freedom, Legality and Rights in Europe) network members for the FLARE European Social Campaign. Different activities will take place, on the topic of fighting organized crime, in the communities and countries of the FLARE representants.

In Hunedoara county, ACSCVJ as a FLARE member, will implement the following project under the name of all the events: Season of legality.

The project will take place between March 15 – May 15 and the tarqet group will be represented by young people between ages 14 and 30 from Hunedoara County.

The goal of the project is to form a repelling attitude towards organized crime and especially towards the phenomena of corruption among youths of age 14 - 30.
The objectives of the project are raising awareness among youths on the negative effects of corruption and the creation of automated reactions of repelling corruption

The following activities will take place:
1. Essay and art contest with the theme “Corruption. Effects and ways to fight against it”
2. Creating and displaying flyers in public institutions with the theme “Corruption. Effects and ways to fight against it” 3. Organizing s round table with the theme “Corruption. Effects and ways to fight against it”

Description of the activities:

1. Contest
The contest will have two categories: essay and art. The theme of the contest will be “Corruption. Effects and ways to fight against it” The essays will have min. 2 and max. 5 pages and will be written in Times New Roman characters having the font size of 12.
The art category will include the following: drawing, photography, film
The Contest will launch on the 15st of March, the final date of submission to the contest will be 15st of April. All the materials subscribed in the project will be presented on the ACSCVJ website. The handing of the awards will take place during the round table.

2. Flyers
The flyers will be made using the information gathered from the essays and will be displayed in public institutions in Petrosani.

3. Round Table
The round table will take place on the 29th of April. All the contestants and other young people will be invited to take part in the meeting. A representant from FLARE´s Board of Directors will be present at the final event. The program: - introducing the speakers - debates - presentation of the FLARE network, the project and the essays - handing over the awards
