Revenue and Customs officers have seized €3.78 million worth of cigarettes in a major operation against smugglers.

The Royal Navy says it has seized its biggest haul of cocaine, estimating its street value at £240m ($380m).
The Portsmouth-based frigate HMS Iron Duke seized more than five-and-a-half tonnes of the drug from a 138ft fishing boat off the coast of Colombia.

Five Macedonian citizens are hold suspect to have been involved in heroin trafficking. They were arrested in Bulgaria during the joint operation of the Macedonian and the Bulgarian police. The operation was named Corridor. The operation was carried out two days ago in Blagoevgrad.

Spanish police say they have broken up a drugs smuggling ring and arrested 18 people on suspicion they used Barcelona airport to introduce cocaine into the country.
